How the desk review works

Every submission goes through a structured review. The aim is to verify what is real, confirm ownership, and decide whether the desk can introduce a serious buyer.

1. 01
   Step 1 — Submit parcel details

   Share the commodity, location, tonnage, grade, ore type (stockpile / ROM / concentrate / DSO), photos, videos, asking price and your contact details.

2. 02
   Step 2 — Upload documents

   Assay certificates, mine/claim documents, ownership proof, business registration, ID/director documents (where required), export documents, photos, videos and any previous buyer/offtake agreements.

3. 03
   Step 3 — Desk review

   The MetalPulse Africa desk reviews the submission, checks documents, evaluates commercial viability and may request more information.

4. 04
   Step 4 — Site visit / representative

   If the opportunity is serious, the desk may send a representative to site, or appoint a local representative, to inspect the material and gather more information.

5. 05
   Step 5 — Independent assay

   The desk may require third-party verification through SGS, Bureau Veritas, AHK, Intertek or another recognised laboratory, depending on location and material.

6. 06
   Step 6 — Custody / control process

   Where commercially agreed, the desk may require controlled handling, custody arrangements, stockpile verification, sealing, weighing or monitored movement before any final purchase offer.

7. 07
   Step 7 — Purchase offer

   After due diligence and verification, the desk may present a purchase offer based on grade, tonnage, payable terms, logistics, buyer demand and current market price.
